Harris County Stay-at-Home Order & Mask Order

Everyone over age 9 must wear a “mask” when outside the home in Harris County through May 26th.  The “mask” can be a scarf, bandana, handkerchief, t-shirt or homemade fabric mask that covers the nose & mouth.  Wearing a mask is not required when you are at home (without visitors), driving, exercising, eating or drinking.  Individuals who cannot wear a mask for medical reasons are excluded from the mask order.  Masks are not a replacement for social distancing!  Continue to maintain 6’ between yourself & others.

The Harris County Stay-at-Home, Work-Safe Order is in effect through May 20th.  Judge Hidalgo urges residents to stay at home, if possible.

HFRRF Update

HFRRF offices remain closed until further notice.  Staff are working remotely to sustain essential operations.  Phones & emails are monitored during regular business hours.  We apologize for any inconvenience during this unprecedented time.  Thank you for your patience.

Mail deliveries (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc) are only received twice a week.  The best way to communicate with the Fund is by email or phone.

The HFRRF Board extended the deadline for those required to submit a copy of their tax return to the Fund.  The new deadline is July 30, 2020.
