Access, Use and Security Agreement

To register for use and to proceed to use the member information feature of the Fund’s website, you must review and agree to the Security Agreement below.  Your current and future use of the website acknowledges and is expressly conditioned upon your agreement that you have read, understand, and agree to the Access, Use and Security Agreement Terms and Conditions.

Fund Responsibilities and Activities

n      To complete your Fund business, the Fund may coordinate efforts involving your information with other parties, such as the City of Houston or other City pension funds.

n      Any information provided through the use of the member information feature of the Fund’s website is only an estimate and does not validate eligibility for a benefit at this or any time.  Your actual monthly pension amount will not be determined until you make a formal application for retirement through the HFD Human Resources Department (or you enter the DROP).  Additionally, all applicable payroll information must be received by the Fund. The Fund does not guarantee the correctness, completeness, timeliness or reliability of estimates, and will not be held responsible for any use of, errors or omissions concerning, reliance upon, or results from information obtained through the use of the member information feature of the Fund’s website. 

n      Every attempt is made to ensure that access is available at all times.  However, the Fund accepts no responsibility for problems that occur as a result of interruption, inability to access the service for any reason, or user error.

Your Role in Security

n      Maintain the confidentiality of your personal on-line information by not revealing your password to anyone.

n      Change your password regularly, and contact the Fund if an unauthorized person gets access to your password or if you discover unauthorized activity. If you forget your password, select "Forgot Password" after entering your social security number on the "log on" screen. Your password will be e-mailed to you.

n      Don’t walk away from your computer if you are in the middle of a session.

n      Always use the secure Log Off when you have completed your personal access services.

n      These Terms and Conditions are subject to change, so check the last revised date every time you Log On, and review the Agreement if the terms have changed.

n If you supply information when you register to use this calculator (such as an e-mail address),it will be your responsibility to update your registered information with any changes.
