Please contribute your memories now.
Some Extraordinary Years
For any pension fund, each and every day of its history is extremely significant . . . for it is primarily the slow, compounding of assets through time that provides for the benefits that have been promised to the members. Sometimes, however, across the history of the Houston Firefighters' Relief and Retirement Fund, events shaped . . . and sometimes dramatically altered the future course of events.
Some Extraordinary Individuals
The creation and success of the Houston Firefighters' Relief and Retirement Fund can be attributed to all the firefighters who made investing for firefighters’ future a priority, but a few individuals stand out as having gone beyond the call of duty for the Fund. These firefighters invested their time and energy to enrich the Fund, in addition to performing their duties as firefighters. Because of their sacrifices and dedication, the Fund has blossomed into the success it is today.
